NAT KING COLE L-O-V-E

Nat's last recording session came on Dec. 3, 1964 completing his soon-to-be released L.O.V.E album. "L-O-V-E" was one of the three songs Nat recorded that day, and he would pass away less than 3 months from the date of this session. Nat knew at the time of this recording that he was headed to the hospital.

LOVE 是  Nat King Cole (納·京·科爾) 於1964年12月3日錄製的最後三首單曲的其中一首並收錄於同名專輯 L-O-V-E。Nat在完成此專輯後的三個月離開人世。

他本名Nathaniel Adams Coles，父親為教會牧師，家裡的兄弟各自都有音樂專長。如同大部份的南方黑人，為了求得更好的生活水平，四歲時隨家人移居芝加哥，十二歲時在父親主持的教會彈奏管風琴並加入詩班。

藉著動人的歌聲常在大樂隊與爵士樂的演出中表演， 在1936年與兄弟Eddie合出第一張由Decca發行的唱片。他亦是第一位在電視上主持綜藝節目的非洲裔美國人。即使在他過世40年後，在全世界仍然十分受歡迎，更被廣泛認為是美國音樂史上的一位非常重要的代表。
